ABOUT US

Stone-Dance began as a quiet dialogue between hands, earth, and time.

With reverence for the beauty of natural stones, we set out not just to craft jewelry — but to give voice to the spirit of the earth.

For over two decades, we’ve journeyed across continents in search of rare gems and enduring wisdom — gathering stones, studying traditional techniques, and learning from master artisans whose craft carries the soul of their culture.

Each piece we create is a fusion of these encounters — where ancient knowledge meets modern expression. Silver and gold are shaped by hand, intertwined with our original rope-knotting patterns, and guided by the form and energy of the stone itself.

Silver & Gold Works

At Stone-Dance, each piece of jewelry is crafted with the ancient art of hand-soldering. Unlike modern methods that use casting, our approach is rooted in tradition, where every cut and hammer strike shapes the metal into something extraordinary.

This meticulous process demands more time and precious metal, but it results in jewelry that embodies warmth and durability. Each handcrafted detail, from the setting of gemstones to the final polish, carries the spirit of the maker’s hands.

Wearing Stone-Dance jewelry offers more than just adornment—it provides a unique sense of comfort and joy, enriching your life with its one-of-a-kind presence.

Gold & Silver Union Jewelry

(18K Welded Silver Technique)

This signature series from Stone-Dance is crafted using a traditional technique in which 18K gold is directly welded onto silver. Unlike gold plating or gold-filled pieces, these creations retain the full weight and strength of gold, ensuring durability and lasting beauty.

Only skilled artisans can master this special technique, harmonizing gold and silver into a beautifully balanced union in each piece, which combines strength and delicacy, radiance and subtlety, enhancing the wearer’s individuality with understated elegance.

Craft Braided Jewelry

(Macrame Works)

Since its founding, Stone-Dance has been creating jewelry through the art of knotting. Beyond the technique commonly known as macrame, we adapt knotting traditions from around the world.

We work with a variety of cords—synthetic fibers, hemp, linen, silk, cotton, and more—carefully selecting the best match for each stone and design. At times, we even spin the threads ourselves.

Free from metal, our jewelry is safe and comfortable for those with metal allergies.

Though simple in form, knotting demands patience and focus. Through weaving, cords gain strength and durability, while each piece quietly holds the warmth of handcraft.

In harmony with the stones, the cords create jewelry that combines softness, resilience, and strength—like a small universe, unfolding as a mandala.

About the Objects

From crystal and thread to bamboo’s and driftwood shaped by water and time, our creations are born out of nature. Some remain small, quiet mobiles, filling the room with the gentle glow of morning light Others unfold into vast hanging forms, transforming balconies and gardens into living art that shine with the brilliance of the sun by day and glow with the quiet grace of the moon by night.

Suspended in the air, they move as if dancing—breathing with the space around them. Wherever they dwell, they invite balance, wonder, and a sense of timeless beauty—like finding a hidden path within a labyrinth.
